FAQ

What happens if I am shortlisted as a finalist?

Once Community and Academic Grant applications are reviewed, finalists will be contacted to arrange an interview. You will meet with a panel of Moonee Valley Foundation board members who are responsible for making decisions about grant recipients based on your application and presentation at the interview. Recipients are required to lodge a written report to the Moonee Valley Foundation at the conclusion of their project.

All applicants will be advised of the outcome of your application.

When do grant presentations take place, and do I have to attend?

The grant presentations take place in August of each year. Winners are required to attend the ceremony, however alternative arrangements can be made by exception, for example, if you are overseas at the time of the ceremony.

Do I need to live in the City of Moonee Valley to apply?

Applicants need to either live in the City of Moonee Valley or otherwise have a connection to the area, for example, through work, study or playing sport.
