Once Award of Excellence Grant applications are reviewed, finalists will be contacted to arrange an interview. You will meet a panel of Moonee Valley Foundation board members who will review applications based on how well they meet the outlined criteria, the suitability of the budget, and presentation at the interview.

If chosen for an award, recipients are required to lodge a written report to the Moonee Valley Foundation at the conclusion of their project.

All applicants will be advised of the outcome of your application.

The grant presentations take place in August of each year. Winners are required to attend the ceremony, however alternative arrangements can be made by exception, for example, if you are overseas at the time of the ceremony.
